The Trinity
In this module
- 1. One God in three persons
- 2. The witness of Scripture
- 3. How the early Church confessed it
- 4. Why it matters for prayer and worship
2
Key Scripture
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Matthew 28:19 (KJV)
3
One God, three persons
Scripture teaches plainly that there is one God. It also calls the Father God, the Son God, and the Holy Spirit God, and shows them speaking to and about one another.
The doctrine of the Trinity holds both truths together: one divine being, eternally existing as three distinct persons, equal in glory.

Summary
- · God is one in being
- · Father, Son and Spirit are each fully God
- · The three are distinct, not three gods

I had read the Bible for years without ever seeing how it fits together. The Old Testament modules alone changed how I read every Sunday sermon.

Our Statement of Faith
Our teaching is rooted in the historic Christian faith and the authority of Holy Scripture.
- We believe the Bible is the inspired and authoritative Word of God.
- We believe in one God eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, bodily raised from the dead, and coming again.
- We believe salvation is by God's grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
- We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit and His indwelling presence in believers.
- We believe God is the Creator of heaven and earth.
- We believe in the Church, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and eternal life in Christ.
Bible-Centered. Christ-Centered. Interdenominational.
We are not exclusively Calvinist, Arminian, Reformed, Dispensational, or tied to any single denomination. On secondary doctrines where faithful Christians differ, we present the major biblical perspectives and encourage students to test all things by Scripture.
“Your word is truth.” - John 17:17
